Drag files or use the Move up / Move down buttons to set page order.
The Online PDF Merger combines multiple PDF files into one, in the order you set. Merging runs in your browser and files are never uploaded, which is useful for contracts, course materials, scans, and other documents that may contain private information.
Add at least two files marked Ready. PDFs that require a password to open cannot be merged — remove the password first. Files you can open but that only restrict printing or copying can usually still be merged. Pages follow the list from top to bottom; preview the result before downloading.
Q: Are files uploaded to a server?
A: No. Merging runs entirely in your browser.
Q: Is it free? How many files can I merge?
A: Yes, it is free. You can add multiple PDFs; at least two ready files are required. Larger files and more pages take longer.
Q: Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
A: Not if a password is required to open the file. Unlock it first. The tool will show that the PDF is encrypted.
Q: How do I change the page order?
A: Drag files in the list, or use Move up / Move down. The merged file follows that order from top to bottom.
Q: Can I still select text after merging?
A: Yes. Pages are joined as they are, not converted to images, so text usually remains selectable.
Q: Does it work on mobile?
A: Yes, in a mobile browser. Very large files may take longer; keep the page in the foreground while it runs.
