Merged File
Tool Introduction

The Online PDF Merger combines multiple PDF files into one, in the order you set. Merging runs in your browser and files are never uploaded, which is useful for contracts, course materials, scans, and other documents that may contain private information.

Key Features

  • Merge multiple files: add several PDFs and join them into one file in list order;
  • Reorder: drag files, or use Move up / Move down;
  • Preview: preview each file in the list, then preview the merged result before downloading;
  • Size and page count: each item shows file size and pages; the result shows total size and page count;
  • No upload: processing stays on your device;
  • Stop anytime: you can cancel while a merge is running.

Use Cases

  • Combine contracts or attachments into a single file for submission;
  • Join lecture notes or scans in chapter order;
  • Meet forms or cloud drives that accept only one PDF;
  • Keep sensitive documents off third-party servers.

How to Use

  1. Click the upload area or drag in PDFs. You need at least two files that are ready to merge;
  2. Drag items or use Move up / Move down to set the page order. Preview a file if you want to check it first;
  3. Click Merge PDFs. Use Stop if you need to cancel;
  4. Preview the merged file in the result area, then download it.

Tips

Add at least two files marked Ready. PDFs that require a password to open cannot be merged — remove the password first. Files you can open but that only restrict printing or copying can usually still be merged. Pages follow the list from top to bottom; preview the result before downloading.

FAQ

Q: Are files uploaded to a server?

A: No. Merging runs entirely in your browser.

Q: Is it free? How many files can I merge?

A: Yes, it is free. You can add multiple PDFs; at least two ready files are required. Larger files and more pages take longer.

Q: Can I merge password-protected PDFs?

A: Not if a password is required to open the file. Unlock it first. The tool will show that the PDF is encrypted.

Q: How do I change the page order?

A: Drag files in the list, or use Move up / Move down. The merged file follows that order from top to bottom.

Q: Can I still select text after merging?

A: Yes. Pages are joined as they are, not converted to images, so text usually remains selectable.

Q: Does it work on mobile?

A: Yes, in a mobile browser. Very large files may take longer; keep the page in the foreground while it runs.
