WeMD Product Introduction

WeMD is a Markdown typesetting tool for WeChat Official Account specially built for creators, with the core design concept of local-first, realizing a one-stop solution from Markdown writing to Official Account typesetting, getting rid of complex typesetting operations and making creation more efficient.

Technical Highlights

Built-in color semantic preservation algorithm optimized based on WeChat official algorithm, it is a rare open source solution for WeChat Official Account dark mode preview on the market. Through intelligent element type recognition and HSL color space calculation, it ensures the visual consistency of dark mode rendering.

• Online use: visit edit.wemd.app directly, no installation required, support local storage
• Desktop version: download the corresponding platform installation package from the project Releases
• Self-deployment: support one-click deployment with Docker compose, and can also carry out local development and secondary customization based on Node.js+pnpm

Technology Stack

Developed based on React 18, TypeScript 5 and Electron, using Turborepo for project management, NestJS for the server side, with MIT open source protocol, supporting secondary development and customization by developers.
