[Windows] AI ID Photo Maker v1.0 - Scene Recognition, Portrait Cutout & ID Photo Generation

Toolshu already offers an online ID photo maker: open the web page to change the background color and generate 1-inch / 2-inch / visa photos, with no installation required.

But if you need stronger AI portrait cutout, offline batch processing, or your photo has a complex background (the online version works best with solid-color backgrounds), then the open-source desktop tool below is a great complement. Use them together: the online version for simple needs, the desktop version for complex ones.

Online vs Desktop: Which One to Choose?

In one sentence: Choose the online version for speed and convenience; choose the desktop version if you need higher cutout precision and offline privacy.

Introduction

An AI ID photo maker that works fully offline. It recognizes and cuts out portraits from a variety of shooting scenes, generates standard ID photos in different sizes as well as 4x6 layout photos, and supports changing the background color, retouching, adding watermarks, and more.

How to Use

1. Start the program

After downloading, unzip the archive and double-click to run [AI ID Photo Maker.exe].

2. Wait for the service to start

A window pops up; when you see the prompt shown below, the service has started successfully. The program automatically opens your browser to the service URL, where you can see the feature page.

If it does not open automatically, you can manually enter the access address shown by the program in your browser's address bar. The default local address is: http://127.0.0.1:6001

3. Start creating

Just follow the on-page instructions.

Appendix: Change the Startup Port

The default startup port is 6001. To change it, edit config/sever_port.txt and set another port number, such as 6002.

Version Notes

• Lite / trial version: Removes model files larger than 100MB from the project (1 face detection model and 2 face cutout models). There is no functional difference, and it is over 400MB smaller than the full version, making it ideal for a quick trial. If the generated ID photos are not satisfactory, you can download the full version to use more advanced models.
• Full version: Includes all advanced models for better cutout results. If conditions allow, downloading the full version is recommended.

Warning: The first time you create a photo after starting the program, a "creation error" may occur. If this happens, simply create it again to resolve the issue.
